WHO WE ARE

Northwest Fluid Power & Controls was founded in early 2016 by two (2) individuals who were employed at DRT. Fluid Power, which upon a buy-out and merge, became Western Integrated Technologies. Northwest Fluid Power & Controls seeks out niche markets and provides its customers with value-added engineering. Northwest Fluid Power & Controls thinks that the most effective way to introduce a product to the market is to offer customer solutions as opposed to just selling components. Northwest Fluid Power & Controls has done most of its business in the systems area of our overall business. The fluid power market in the Pacific Northwest has been growing approximately 8-10% per year. Northwest Fluid Power & Controls has much faster than the market due to the aggressive addition of a motivated team, as well as the quality and technical leadership of the product lines we represent.

SOME OF OUR WORK

  • 787 wing box static and dynamic test
  • 787 static & dynamic test (forthcoming)

Our sales approach is based on problem solving, technical support and service. The foundation of this sales approach is a technically trained outside sales staff, a customer service oriented inside sales staff and key partners in industrial controls engineering. A large number of markets and customers give Northwest Fluid Power & Controls a strong business balance and helps mitigate the Company’s exposure to economic cycles. The NWFP & Controls sales approach is technically driven. Our sales people are not order takers, they are engineered solution providers. NWFP & Controls prides itself in technical support, and the application of technology to meet our customer’s needs. Our ultimate goal is to help customers solve technical problems in a cost effective, manner. Owners and current employees at Northwest Fluid Power & Controls, designed, built, installed and commissioned the Central Hydraulic System at Boeing Everett, as well as the new Stationary/Remote Consoles that interface between the Central Hydraulic System and the airplane. This system is used to test all aircraft hydraulic systems and components in the factory, prior to moving to the flight line. The system at Boeing Everett supports the 747, 767 and 777 programs. We also did the hydraulic power unit for the Boeing Renton 737 production line.

Others Systems

  • Numerous ferry terminal systems for both Washington State Ferries and Alaska Department of Transportation.
  • Complete Hydraulic, water and lube systems for the following tunnel boring machines around the world:
